ROBERT JARMANROBERT JARMAN - Director
A freelance theatre worker, Robert has tutored, performed and/or directed both classic and new work for all major Tasmanian performance companies. Robert has an ongoing role with the University of Tasmania’s Conservatorium of Music, which goes back to 1995, when he directed two student written operas. Since then he has directed over a dozen substantial opera and music theatre works for the Conservatorium, ranging from Mozart's Cosi fan Tutte to Phillip Glass's Hydrogen Jukebox. Robert is a former member of the Tasmanian Arts Advisory Board and former Chair of the Arts Tasmania Theatre
Panel. He was awarded the Centenary of Federation Medal for services to the performing arts. He maintains an ongoing connection with Israel and Palestine and is an associate member of the General Union of Palestinian Artists. His music theatre credits as a Director include Gilbert and Sullivan Operettas as well as large scale productions of Guys and Dolls,
Anything Goes, Sweet Charity and West Side Story at Hobart’s Theatre Royal.

CRAIG WELLINGTONCRAIG WELLINGTON -  Producer
Craig has written plays, children’s books, sketch comedy and science fiction as well as documentaries and commercial television and radio. He has written radio comedy as well as stage and TV comedy and works as a producer, director and writer. Previous musical producing credits for theatre include Guys and Dolls, Anything Goes and Sweet Charity (XWWX/Theatre Royal/RACT Insurance) in 1999, 2000 and 2001. He also produces the annual Boag’s Draught Hobart Comedy Festival. He has performed at the Edinburgh Fringe in He Died with a Felafel in his Hand for Fifth Wall Productions in 2002. He has appeared in Melbourne International Comedy Festivals including Over The Fence Is Out (1994), X Wellington Wellington X (2002), and the critically acclaimed Ramblings (2006/2007) and Wellington WHO? (2007) for each of which he was also the producer. He has appeared as everyone’s favourite Inspector, Crabtree, in ‘Allo ‘Allo (2001/2002). On-stage musical credits include 42nd Street (Hills Centre/Theatre Royal), Chess and A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum (Hobart Rep) as well as Gus the Theatre cat in CATS.


IAN WILLIAMS - Musical Director
Graduating with a Bachelor of Music, specializing in voice, Ian established a private teaching practice and worked with a numerous of primary and high schools teaching individual students and choral groups. In 1996 Ian established ExitLeft Productions. ExitLeft has provided Ian with the opportunity to train young performers at every level. These ExitLeft Stars
have been wowing audiences in stage productions, concerts, corporate functions and community events around Tasmania. ExitLeft singers have supported touring artists such as Rob Guest and Michael Crawford. Major ExitLeft musical productions include Annie, Rent and The Sound of Music at the Theatre Royal as well as arena productions of Les Miserables and Cats at
the Derwent Entertainment Centre. Ian is Music Director of the Music Theatre Course at the University of Tasmania’s Conservatorium of Music.

JON BOWLING - Set Designer, Construction and Technical Director
Jon has an arts degree in Industrial Design with 30 years experience working in theatre, television, film and installations. Jon has worked with Zootango, The Conservatorium of Music, Theatre Royal, X Wellington/Wellington X, IHOS, is theatre and Terrapin Puppet Theatre as well as Exit Left, the Gilbert & Sullivan Society, Hobart Rep and Old Nick and most of the Hobart and Launceston Colleges. Jon’s early years were with the Hobart Film Corporation and he art directed films such as Save the Lady, Devil’s Hill, The Tasmanian Story, The Departure and Manganinnie and Exile as well as more TV commercials than he cares to remember. Jon has designed and constructed several interpretation exhibits, including The Honey Farm at Chudleigh, the Coles Bay Visitor’s Centre Pricilla and Friends and the Sea Horse Farm and Interpretation Centre Cave of the Seahorses. He has designed and constructed sets for hundreds of theatrical productions including the
first Hobart Les Misérables in 1995, My Fair Lady, Oliver!, HMS Pinafore and Oklahoma! and he built the sets for The Sound of Music, West Side Story, Murder on the Nile, Are You Being Served? Annie, Hydrogen Jukebox, Tesla, For the Term of His Natural Life, La Cage aux Folles and South Pacific. He designed and built the touring set for Island Theatre’s successful show The Tank. This year 2007, Jon designed and built set elements for 10 Days on the Island’s Dream Masons, the Old Nick Company’s Uni Revue Little Brighton, followed by Troilus & Cressida, The Last Five Years for Alison Farrow, High School Musical for Mainstage and he was rigging technician for Beyond the Neck. And, in the day time, he is course coordinator for the Salamanca Performing Arts Certificate (and Diploma) in Entertainment for training theatre technicians.


ADELA MORTONADELA MORTON – Costume Design and Wardrobe Coordination
Adela has been involved with theatre for most of her life. She has experience as a performer, costume designer and administrator and has appeared in a film documentary and television advertisement (with really odd hair). She recently designed new performance and travel uniforms for the Australian Rosny Children’s Choir. Adela enjoys sewing, music and the company of good friends. ANDREW ‘GHOST’ MACDONALDANDREW ‘GHOST’ MACDONALD – Lighting Designer
Ghost was dragged backstage to carry heavy things in the dark in 1985. Since then he has been involved in many shows, mostly working in the dark, but occasionally caught on stage under lights. He gave up a real job about seven years ago to enjoy the poverty of professional theatre. He has worked in stage management, lighting, audio and set construction. ADAM JOSE - Choreographer
Adam started his dance training at the age of three, under the guidance of his father, Sonny Jose. He has studied all facets of dance including tap, jazz, hip-hop, classical ballet, neo classical and musical theatre. At the age of twenty, Adam was awarded a scholarship to study performing arts at Dance Factory in Melbourne, were he was also part of the teaching faculty. While interstate, he performed in various productions and corporate events and later traveled to Japan to perform for 6 months. He has also worked in television appearing in the Australian Drama Good Guys, Bad Guys and has performed as B1 from Bananas In Pajamas. Adam is currently the principal of the very prominent and successful S & AJ Dance Company. Choreographer: In Hobart, Adam has choreographed two University Revues for the Old Nick Company, and two musicals, Sweet Charity and West Side Story (X Wellington, Wellington X/Theatre Royal).


JEN CRAMER - Stage Manager
A graduate of NIDA’s Bachelor of Technical Production, Jen has 12 years experience as a Production Manager, Stage Manager, Tour Manager, Operations Manager and teacher of technical theatre. She spent 5 years in Sydney where she worked with Company B Belvoir St, Theatre of Image, Fox Studios Australia and Ceremonies for the 2000 Sydney Olympics. Since returning is 2002 she has worked with every professional theatre company Tasmania has to offer including Theatre Royal, is theatre, Terrapin, TasDance, Stompin Youth Dance, Salamanca Arts Centre and Ten Days on the Island as well as may local community and amateur companies. She is a trainer and assessor for the Salamanca Arts Centre Course in Entertainment. Management: Upgrade Project Manager and Operations Manager, Theatre Royal, Hobart; Project Coordinator, Emerging Artist Tasmania, is theatre ltd., Hobart Credits: Jen has worked as Production Manager, Stage Manager, Tour Manager, Event Manager, Lighting and Audio Designer and Operator
